It has no accounts and no ads, it doesn’t track you, and your scans are never sent to us or anyone else. The only information that leaves your device is what’s needed to confirm and restore a BlueSnoop Pro purchase. Below, we explain exactly what BlueSnoop handles, where it’s stored, and the choices you have.    [Start a Conversation!](https://infopowerapps.com/contact-us?hsLang=en) ## BlueSnoop Privacy Policy   Effective date: 11/01/2026 BlueSnoop is an app for finding and identifying Bluetooth devices near you. It is made by Info-Power International, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information BlueSnoop handles and what happens to it. The short version: what BlueSnoop finds stays on your phone. We have no accounts and no servers that receive your scans, and BlueSnoop contains no advertising or analytics. The only information that leaves your phone is what's needed to process and restore a BlueSnoop Pro purchase. WHAT BLUESNOOP DOES ON YOUR PHONE Bluetooth scanning. While you're scanning, BlueSnoop listens for the signals that nearby Bluetooth devices broadcast publicly. Those signals can include a device's name, maker, type, signal strength and battery level. If you tap Identify on a device, BlueSnoop connects to it briefly to read its basic details. All of this is shown on your phone and isn't sent anywhere. Some of what BlueSnoop picks up belongs to other people, such as the name of someone else's phone or earbuds. That's information those devices broadcast to anyone nearby, and BlueSnoop keeps it on your phone only. Location permission. Android requires location permission before an app can scan for Bluetooth devices. On iPhone, BlueSnoop asks for location permission to find iBeacons, which iOS reports only through its location services. BlueSnoop doesn't use GPS, doesn't read your location and doesn't record where you are. WHAT BLUESNOOP SAVES ON YOUR PHONE \- Your settings, such as sort order and distance units. \- Names you give devices (BlueSnoop Pro). \- History (BlueSnoop Pro): which devices were seen on which days, with times and signal strength. History is kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. You can clear it at any time from the History screen. This information is stored only on your phone. It may be included in your phone's own backups, such as iCloud or Google backups, if you have those turned on; your backup settings control that. Deleting BlueSnoop removes everything it saved. BLUESNOOP PRO PURCHASES BlueSnoop Pro is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment; we never see your payment details. When the app starts and when you buy or restore, BlueSnoop sends RevenueCat: \- a random ID created for your copy of the app, which isn't linked to your name, email or store account; \- your purchase history for BlueSnoop, as reported by Apple or Google; \- basic technical details, such as app version, operating system version, device model, country, preferred language and IP address. RevenueCat uses this to confirm your purchase and to show us totals, such as how many people bought Pro. It doesn't receive anything BlueSnoop finds while scanning. WHAT WE DON'T DO \- We don't sell or share your information for advertising. \- We don't track you across other apps or websites. \- We don't create accounts or ask for your name or email. CHILDREN BlueSnoop isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS You can clear your history in the app, remove a device's name at any time, and delete everything BlueSnoop has stored by deleting the app. You can turn Bluetooth and location permissions off in your phone's settings; BlueSnoop won't be able to scan without them. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of, or the deletion of, information about you that we or RevenueCat hold. Because we have no accounts, the only information involved is the purchase record described above. To make a request, contact us at the address below. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change affects what information leaves your phone, we'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
